Creamy Chicken Kale Soup

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 TBSP minced garlic (I like to buy the large jars from costco)
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 bunch of Kale 
  • 4 cups fresh spinach (optional)
  • I like extra greens!🥬 
  • 2 Cups Chopped cooked 🥓 Bacon
  • Seasoning 

1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 large onion, diced
2 TBSP minced garlic (I like to buy the large jars from costco)
Sauté red pepper flakes, onion & garlic in a large pot over medium heat  

4 chicken breasts
6 cups chicken broth
Add 4 chicken breasts & chicken broth to the mixture. Boil until chicken is done. 
Remove cooked chicken and shred

6 potatoes, Diced
Add potatoes to the chicken stock.  Boil until fork tender, about 15 minutes.

2 cups heavy cream
Shredded Chicken 
Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the heavy cream & shredded chicken; heat through.

1 bunch of Kale
4 cups fresh spinach (optional)
I like extra greens!🥬 
2 TBSP Garlic Seasoning (I like Johnny's garlic - I get it from costco)
2 Cups Chopped cooked 🥓 Bacon
Stir in the Kale, Spinach, Garlic Seasoning & bacon. Take the pot off the stove.
I add honey sriracha seasoning to mine! I like mine spicy!

1 Package COOKED bacon, chopped
(I like to cook mine in the air fryer)
Place one layer of bacon in an Air Fryer basket. Turn the heat to 350, cook for 12 minutes.
