CANDIED ALMONDS/PECANS

Candy nuts! These are the same ones we sell at the shop & also what we top our carrot cupcakes!

1 LARGE Bag Almonds/Pecans (12 cups)
Place Nuts on a well-greased cookie sheet
Roast in the oven 350 for 10 minutes.

4 Cups Sugar
1 TBSP Cinnamon
2 Cups 💧Water
1 TBSP🧂Salt
In a LARGE POT, combine sugar, cinnamon, water & salt.
Cook on 🔥HIGH HEAT
Cook to 120 DEGREES CELSIUS (aka FIRM BALL)
❌DO NOT STIR!!!!❌

3 TBSP Vanilla
🚨DON’T FORGET THE VANILLA! 🚨
Remove from heat and add vanilla immediately.
Combine nuts into a pile.
Pour over toasted pecans/almonds.
Stir until all are coated. Work fast!!!!
